Yes, I am looking for the "name" of a crypto asset ("Bitcoin", "Stellar Lumens",...). I could imagine it being a part of the "dashboard"-endpoint or a new enpoint that only contains the symbol->name mappings. In case you plan to also offer more static metadata in the future (like "icon url"), this could also be a symbol->metadata endpoint

I want this too. This is so much needed to map the currencies to whatever internal mapping someone is using (it just helps a lot to map by comparing, even though every exchange is using slightly different full names). Don't make developers crawl these names from your website. Hope to see this feature soon. What I have seen at coinmarketcap and what can be confusing is that names can change over time (I imagine the reasons to be ambiguous naming of a currency and later one wants to switch to the more often used one), maybe one could include something like previously used name with a timestamp of discontinuation for that case, or somehow let the users know or keep a log of changes somewhere else.
